The Clyde T. Hopkins Municipal Park is a small park located in Chattahoochee, Florida. Chattahoochee is just south of the Florida-Georgia line, where Georgia's Chattahoochee River becomes Florida's Apalachicola River.
There are three short trails in the park and we enjoyed the Muscogee Trail. It's about 1.4 miles and traffic was light. There are beautiful flowers along the way and a view of the lake.
The Angus Gholson Nature Trail is 0.4 miles and used mainly for walking dogs and it's a great hike for children. There are beautiful flowers along the way and a view of the river. The Angus Gholson Nature Park is the trailhead of the Angus Gholson Nature Trail.
We were camping at Eastbank COE Campground and enjoyed the day trip into Chattahoochee. There's more information about the campground on our RV Home on the Road page here.
