Elachee is a non-profit environmental education center located in the Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve. The visitor center is just off Atlanta Highway and inclues a museum, gardens and access to hiking trails.

We hiked the 4.5 miles trail in February, 2011 and found the coded milage markers easy to follow. The highlight of the trail is crossing the suspension bridge.

The museum is an education center for school children and there is a small fee.
