Gwinnett Place Mall Shorty Howell Park
McDaniel Farm Park is such a surprise tucked away in such a busy area as Gwinnett Place Mall. This 125-acre tract was purchased by Gwinnett County in 2000. The historic farm buildings include a farmhouse, barn, sharecropper's cabin and several outbuildings.
The trail is a great walk or bike ride. It took us about an hour on the trail and another hour to explore the farm buildings. This is a must-see in Gwinnett County.
DIRECTIONS FROM ATLANTA: I 85 N to Exit 104 (Pleasant Hill Road) and turn left. Turn right onto Old Norcross Road. Turn left onto McDaniel Road.
