We hiked the Muscadine Trail in early May and the hardwood trees were beautiful. We saw oak, walnut, mulberry and cherry trees. The hike was easy with a few hills. The hike is a loop and we had to come out of the wood and cross the park road to continue the trail.
There's many activities here including a swimming beach, tennis courts and volleyball. The lake is known for boating and fishing is excellent year-round.
We spent the weekend camping to enjoy the park. See our camping site RV Home on the Road for more information and details about camping.
