This well hidden trail begins on Hwy 20 just south of the Mall of GA. This is a great hike or bike ride to the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center.
At the beginning of the hike a left turn on a gravel path will take you to the Mill Creek Nature trail but staying to the right will keep you on the Ivy Creek Greenway.
The path is paved and the hardest part is climbing the hill to the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center. The path winds behind the AMLI at Mill Creek Apartments and there are some nice views of water cascades and the ruins of the Woodward Mill.
Cross the bridge after the apartments and turn left to find a picnic pavilion or turn right to continue to the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center.
There are plans to connect this greenway with George Pierce Park and Suwanee Creek Greenway.
